He came from Romagna but his family settled in Friuli where they emigrated. He was an authentic “friulano”. He worked tirelessly and scrupulously. He exercised the service of sacristan in an excellent manner. He lived in the communities of Milan, Rome and Battipaglia. He remained for a long time in the community of St Agatha in Rome where he also died.
He was polite and gentle with all people he met, who used to come to him just to see him and greet him.
He was equally kind and charitable with the confreres.
His arm was the broom, his defence the rosary that he recited and led with the most devout of the people.
He was suffering from arthritis for a long time, while still continuing in all his tasks.
