In 1947 he was sent to Campinas, having been elected a provincial councillor. From 1951 to 1958 he exercised his priestly ministry in Rio de Janeiro. He lived also at Casa Branca (SP) from 1967 to 1990 where he worked as a formator and the director of a radio station. From 1991 to 1994 he dedicated his time to the process for the beatification of Fr Luiz Maria Fernandes, the Founder of the Institute of the  ‘Servas de Jesus Sacerdote’ (Handmaids of Jesus the Priest). Already octogenarian he continued in his priestly ministry in the parish of Itararé (SP) with an admirable enthusiasm. He then retired to Chàcara do Vovò, in Campinas, because of health problems.
