He completed his high school studies with high marks especially in physical and mathematical sciences. In 1817, as an ordained priest, he asked to enter Stimate. He was a handsome and tall man, and because of these qualities he had been chosen to enter the noble guard of Napoleon.
His preaching was full of power and zeal. He was tireless in teaching, in hearing confessions and in engineering works. He laboured very much for the construction of our monastery of Stimate.
