He spent the first five years after his ordination in Italy: Verona, Udine and Milan, then he went to the USA where he worked always in our parishes of Springfield, Pittsfield, Manassas and Woodbridge. At Pittsfield he was parish priest for fifteen years (1926-1941).
In 1941 he was elected first Provincial Superior and gave much thrust to all our works in the USA and Canada. He promoted many priestly vocations, gaining the admiration of people during the economic recession of 1929-1931. When he had to retire because of age and illness, he lived in the provincial house of Springfield.
