Immediately after ordination he lived in our communities of Trento and Parma, but after that he lived almost always with our students and novices.
He was for few years in our parishes of Rome, Battipaglia and Bellizzi.
He had a very soft voice, however his preaching and teaching was very clear with regard to the pronunciation and the content.
His spiritual life was simple and full of faith. He was a cultured and studious person, and well informed about the life and problems of our congregation. He loved geography, astronomy and history. He had a particular love for flowers and botany.
He spent his last five years in the solitude of Malosco.
Before dying he had the joy of seeing his Father Founder canonized.
