PAOLO SOZZI (priest)

He obtained a degree in arts at the University of Padua. He then taught in Udine for some years. He was appointed director of the boarding school of Pavia and in 1919 he moved to USA. There he worked in Hazelton (PA) and later became the superior and the parish priest at Lynn (MA). In 1930 he asked to be transferred to Brazil. He went to teach in our houses of formation of Rio Claro, Ribeirão Preto and S. Paulo. He lectured also at the university of Campinas, where he taught Italian language and literature. He used to speak a dozen languages. During his free time he dedicated himself to preaching for which he was very much appreciated because of his rhetoric talents.
