JOHN SARACCO (priest)

He wanted to become a religious, but he had to care for his family and especially his mother after his father’s death. He entered the novitiate at Waltham in 1936. He completed the theological courses at Wellesley. He exercised his priestly ministry in many of our parishes, and also in Canada. He found in his work the deepest joy and his fulfillment. While in Pittsfield (1986) he was struck by paralysis. He had to be transferred to Waltham where he concluded his life. He always loved our Congregation and community life.
