His character was rather reserved, withdrawn and essential, but he had a deep sensitivity and sincere piety. He had acquire a vast knowledge in the education field. He had been teaching in Belluno’s seminary and had been living in almost all our communities, yet he spent the majority of his life at Verona’s Stimate as director of the Workers Society (Patronato Operaio) and of the Builder Formen’s School (Scuola Capomastri). He was provincial and general bursar.
During the last years of life he suffered from several illnesses that he bore without wanting to inconvenience the other confreres.
