For the whole length of his religious life, sixty years, he used all his strength in the office of tailor and sacristan. He also spent time in teaching catechism to young people in Santo Stefano and Stimmate. He edified all with his spirit of piety and religious observance. He died in tranquillity, while gradually losing his memory that he had exercised with great tenacity.
