AGE: 63 years.
His was an ardent character, and he worked tirelessly in all the aspects of the sacred ministry, in Piacenza, Capodistria, Milan, Bellizzi [Picciola]. For several years he served as director in Trent, Verona and Gemona; he was spiritual father of our students, and Master of Novices. During the Second World war, he poured out his best efforts in the Diocese of Salerno, where he found himself alone among the invading American Soldiers . At that time, he lived in misery and experienced hunger. He suffered an attack of pneumonia, and was brought to the Hospital of Salerno, where he died on the Vigil of the Feast of Mary our Help, to whom he often prayed.
