He has an external appearance of rigidity and roughness, but he hid a high culture and great zeal for souls, especially the most needy ones. He was a chaplain in the prisons, in the Old age Homes and in the Home for handicapped and in a Maternity house. He was a great apostle of the confessional, where many priests used to flock for enlightenment and counselling. He was general bursar and councillor.
