CARMELO MARCHI (priest)

DIED: Battipaglia – 15.7.1973
AGE: 46
He spent much of his priestly ministry in the field of the education of the youth: he was formator of our aspirants and our professed students from 1953 to 1959. He taught at the Stimate and was vice rector of the boarding until 1970. In the same year he was elected superior of the community of Udine and rector of the boarding. In July 1973 he was in Battipaglia to participate in the Provincial Chapter. During a swim in the sea he was struck by a sudden illness and drowned.
