He completed his theological studies partly in Verona and partly in Pistoia where he was ordained priest. He dedicated himself to preaching.
During the second World War he was chaplain in France, Yugoslavia and Albania. In 1949 he was among the first confreres who went back to Pavia in the parish of the Holy Family. He worked with dedication, sacrifice and ability. From 1957 he concentrated his activity in the clinic of “Città di Pavia”, that became his beloved apostolate.
