His family had moved from Bologna to Verona and here the young Bruno frequented the Oratory of Stimmate. After his ordination he helped in the formation community and then he moved to Milan where he worked in the parish of S. Croce while frequenting the University of the S. Heart. He was completing his studies for a degree when he was struck by a strong form of erysipelas which led him to death.
