As a young boy he was for some time in our formation house of Verona but then he decided to return to his family and studied in the diocesan seminary of Udine. After twenty years of service in the diocese, he returned to our Congregation. From 1956 to 1970 he worked as a spiritual director in our house formation at San Leonardo - Verona. He also spent some years in Parma. During the last years of his life he exercised the ministry of a rector at the church of the Stimmate. On 15th August, while celebrating Patron Saint he fell suddenly sic, and was carried to his room. Later on he had to be admitted to our health care centre at San Leonardo where he could be more properly looked after. But his health condition worsened and he had to be hospitalised. During the last days of his life he was very calm and serene, having a great courage in spite of the seriousness of the sickness. He would have liked to live longer in order to do more for the Congregation and for people. He had a pleasant character and was always available. Those who knew him remember him for his kindness and love.
