He frequented the school in Wellesley, MA, where he knew the Stigmatines and in 1942 he entered our minor seminary in Waltham. He had his novitiate in Springfield, the major seminary in Wellesley, and the novitiate in Waterville, NY.
He worked in our parishes of White Plains, MA, and Lynn, MA, and in the formation house of Newton. He concluded his life at St Joseph’s Hall in Waltham.
During much of his life Bro Joseph was afflicted with various maladies but notwithstanding this he was exemplary in his service. He accepted also his last illness with dignity and serenity as a good religious who knows how to see pain and death with faith and trust. During the last years he gave those who assisted him a great edifying example.
