As a young man he had his studies in the state schools and at the Padua university. He then entered the seminary where he had his theology course. After his ordination he was co-operator for six years in the parish of Minerbe (Verona). He became then a canon of the cathedral and superior of the College of the Acolytes. He was always exemplary in humility and great simplicity.
After entering our congregation he became Master of novices and dean of studies in Villazzano (Trento).
He assisted Fr Marani when he became ill, because he was greatly respected by that father. He offered him life to God in advantage of the growth and development of our congregation.
