LORENZO CORRER (priest)

He was one of the first Brazilian aspirants who entered the Congregation at Rio Claro in 1924. He moved to Italy for his studies of philosophy and theology. Once back to Brazil, he taught philosophy at Ribeirão Preto. He mainly worked as a missionary. People appreciate him because of his strong voice, clear talk and sharp reasoning. In October 1978 he was struck by a violent crisis of angina pectoris which lasted four years and eventually brought him to death.
