He possessed a high intelligence and a very strong memory, which helped his to obtain four degrees. He loved music and played very outstandingly.
He was superior and rector of the Udine college during the second world war.
He was elected provincial superior in 1946 and was responsible for guiding orderly the affairs of the Sacred Heart province. He was elected general councillor and provincial bursar.
He had a simple and serene spirit, that made him relate easily with anybody. He did not parade any pride because of his superior culture.
