He had his novitiate and first profession in Gemona. He had a robust physique and his behaviour was sincere and outgoing with exuberant and energetic mannerisms. As a sacristan in Milan in 1936, he used his beautiful voice for the Ambrosian song, he executed all his tasks with diligence and he was also able to serve as a mechanic and electrician.
He was killed by a very serious form of nephritis while still very young.
