He exercised his profession as shoemaker and infirmarian especially in Sezano and Stimate. He went to Udine as infirmarian of the college in 1942. He returned to Stimate (1946), then again to Udine (1965) always with the same tasks.
His first medicines were serenity, understanding and compliance that were working in any case. When he became ill with heart problems it was he himself that managed to give courage to all who visited him.
