He entered the Congregation at 18, just after completing his middle secondary school studies. After novitiate and profession he was sent to Italy together with other students, for the philosophical and theological studies at the Angelicum University in Rome. At the end of the third year of theology he was struck by a serious illness, from which he could not be cured even with the most modern means. Aware of his situation he accepted with serene heart from the hands of God to have to sacrifice his youthful life.
