He was moved by a great apostolic zeal and applied himself to the preaching of the Missions to the people and to give the Spiritual Exercises. He delighted in working with the youth in the Marian Oratories and in any similar organisation, as by an interior natural disposition. He obtained from the Holy See the title of Apostolic Missionary because of his apostolic cares and endeavours.
He was superior in Parma and Pistoia. He worked much also in Pavia.
He met his death in a Parma hospital, as a consequence of a stomach surgery.
