Fr Vittorio was 13 when he enteredas an aspirant, in Verona. He frequented the Angelicum university in Rome, obtaining the licentiate. He returned to Verona to complete his theological studies until his ordination in 1935.
He was assigned to the community of Udine as teacher, vice-rector and administrator of the college.
In 1945 he went to the Stimmate as teacher. He was elected provincial councillor from 1946 to 1949 and was superior and teacher in Udine.
From 1949 to 1951 he attempted a foundation in France. The nostalgia of that failed fundation was to linger in his heart for many years.
In 1951 he was in the parish of S. Croce, Milan.
He was then elected Provincial Superior of the Province of the Sacred Heart in 1952 for two terms of three years each. He subsequently went to live in St Agata in Rome, as Vicar General for two terms of six years each.
In the years 1971-1973 he was superior in the parish of the Ss.ma Trinità. He then went to Rieti until 1986 and subsequently to Trento.
He was a faithful religious and priest: a straightforward person, intellectually gifted, of good culture and of deep humanity. He showed these talents especially in the ministry of confession and spiritual direction.
