He had his novitiate in Gemona and he was subsequently assigned to the community of the Stimmate for the service as a sacristan and in the boarding school. He felt very honoured to be able to serve in these ministries. He was a simple man and a person of great piety and devotion. Even during his old age, in his eighties, he exemplarily persevered in his zeal and peacefulness.
